Thanksgiving Food Drive 2013 Vista Motorcycle

The Goal:  Deliver Fixin’s for Full Thanksgiving Dinners to 25 + Military Families in Need (each family of 4 will be 100 total people fed)

Groceries Needed:  Choose your donation menu items at http://vistamotorcycle.com/thanksgiving-2013-food-menu You will find a link on that page to download the Menu for food donation options.

The Gathering: Drop off food items between now and November 15th at:

Vista Motorcycle 1155 S. Santa Fe Ave. Unit G, Vista, CA 92083 -or- American Legion Post 365 1234 S. Santa Fe Ave. Vista, CA 92083

Gratitude:  As a Thank You for your contribution, a token of our appreciation will be shown with a certificate good for 10% Off parts or service at Vista Motorcycle & a frameable letter of recognition from the American Legion 365 that you can use as proof of your donation to deduct on your taxes.

The Group Ride:  Ride with us and hand deliver the fixins’ to the families on Nov 16th, 2013.
Note: Ride staging as of now will be set for 9 am PDT at Vista Motorcycle.  Ride departure time  is 10am. This is subject to change based on weather conditions at that time. You will be notified via email of any changes after you register. No motorcycle? That’s okay! You can also drive along with us in your car, truck or van. (We still need your RSVP to coordinate)

FAQ:

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Ride your motorcycle and stage at Vista Motorcycle between 9-9:30 a.m. Ride captains will give route and safety info around 9:30. Departure to take place at 10 am.

There is plenty of parking at the cycle shop for motorcycles.

If you are driving in a car, truck or van, please park on the street below the driveway to Vista Motorcycle. Street parking on S. Santa Fe.  We will head out and go east on S. Santa Fe towards Mar Vista Drive for ride departure.

What can/can’t I bring to the event?

Bring your friends who also ride that want to honor and show gratitude to the recipient military families. Any extra cash donations you wish to contribute that morning are greatly welcome.
